Historic Photographer of the Year 2017, a collaboration of two cultural brands, online travel guide Trip Historic and video-on-demand channel History Hit, celebrates the very best historic places and cultural sites of our planet, from the most famous national treasures to the obscure and forgotten hidden gems.
The international contest open to amateur and professional photographers was held for the first time. According to organizers, the winner will see their work showcased on the official competition website and receive a cash prize of £2,500.
